Moderate exploratory usability tests were conducted with five participants who are part of the target audience - in-person with two participants, and remotely with the others through the Zoom platform.

Objectives:

Test if the flow and navigation make sense for the target audience and Identify if users perform the main tasks intuitively before moving on to the high-fidelity prototype.

Tasks that users must perform:

  1. Advertise books
  2. Include books searched by ISBN number, search for donors and request books
  3. Save search results with child's name and activate notifications

Conclusions and insights:

Announcing books

All users were able to announce books for donation.

As it is a flow with few screens and simple tasks, the interaction proved to be effective.
